The design on this note pad is based on the designs used on boxes, pieces of furniture and other items made from Tunbridge ware, intricate inlaid wooden marquetry. These were the first souvenirs produced for Tunbridge Wells dating back to the nineteenth century and are unique to Tunbridge Wells. Some fine examples can be seen in the Tunbridge Wells Museum or bought from local antiques shops.
This useful paperblock has been produced exclusively for Tunbridge Wells and contains approximately 800 sheets of tear-off sheets with a convenient hole for a pencil or pen in the top lefthand corner of the block. Keep it by the phone, on your desk or as an ornament as a unique reminder of Tunbridge Wells.
