As one of England's earliest tourist centres, Royal Tunbridge Wells is fortunate that it has had more maps prepared of it than would normally be expected of a town its size. Obtained from diverse sources such as the British Library, the Tunbridge Wells Museum and Art Gallery and from private collections, many of the maps included in this atlas appear in print for the first time.
